Young Leaders Conference

On Monday 20th May 21 students from Napier Central School left in different cars to the young leaders conference. The Young Leaders conference was held in Rotarua event center. When we got the the Rotarua event center we had to show the ladies standing at the doors our bands and then we went and sat on the stadium. There were allot of other Primary's and Intermediates. On all of the seats there were these booklets that you got to write in about things that the speakers told us. Some of the speakers were Billie Graham, Pio Terei, Ants Parseth, Cam Calkoen and there was also a singer named Jamie MC dell. all of the speaker were excellent and talked about believing in the impossible, never giving up, try new things, stand up to bullies, be yourself, encourage others and lots more. after 2 hours of watching and listening we lined up in a huge line outside the stadium and got all the speakers signatures. When everyone had finished eating and getting signatures we headed off back to Napier. We all stopped in taupo to have a stretch and play for a bit and then we had to go back in the car for another hour and a half drive.
