Room 6 and room 4 camp

Shouting ahh! Going down the flying fox while people cheer at me. I said that was so fun I patently wait for my next turn. I watched Josh then Rachel yay it’s my turn I zoom down I hit the tyres ouch! I take the rope josh helps me get the rope back up. I said thanks josh. Before the flying fox we did mini motor bikes. Josh and I raced up down and around. We made the mini motors go as fast as they could. It was so fun Pete let me and josh race one more time. Retuned to the meeting place and  had afternoon tea. After that we had free time. Then had dinner We write in our theme books followed by each evening. Our night activity was don’t get spotted by the parents. We went to sleep and got up early I didn’t but the others had to do jump jam then run. That was our last day it was so fun!!     

Room4 and room6 camp

The best part of camp was the mini motorbikes because you skid around corners.When I went up slopes it thought a lot more faster.When I saw the mini motorbikes it looked slow but when I rode it felt fast.The mini motor was the very first active at camp. Second we did the flying fox the flying fox was so high I did not go on it I watched people flying and screaming down the flying fox and I watched my dad go down the flying fox.third thing we did was the low ropes the low ropes was fun and a bit of a change and the first active at the low ropes was  you had to climb over with standing on one rope and you hold about 5 ropes .Fourth  was frezzbee golf .Frezzbee golf was the worse active at camp.The next active was BMX bikes the BMX bikes had very bad brakes  and it was hard ride the BMX bikes up slopes.the six active was climbing wall the climb wall was a bit of a change .The practice one was easy the medium part of the climbing wall was very hard. I had to jump to the next rock.The lucky last was shooting and archery the shooting was one of the most best active at camp.Archery was hard and a little bit boring because I didn't hit any balloons.The bell rang we went back to school.I thought how fun camp was.  

term 1 writing

I started the year with cricket it was a great season. We also had a disco it was fun. Room 4and6 went to camp at stony creek camp it was the beast camp I have been to. There was swimming sports I can 2^nd in all of my races. The sports that have been going on are basketball, volleyball, and cricket. MR hall took t ball and softball.

Room 04

I'm enjoying room 4 so far because we've had camp and Miss Ferguson seems really nice. My highlight of the year would probably be camp because it was my first one . My stuff I need to work on would probably be maths on my division cause I need to get faster. Room 4 is a really great class so far .

term evaluation

This term we have done heaps like basket ball, volley ball, cricket,weetbix tryathlon, disco, science in a van, swimming sports,Stoney Creek camp,theme of Forces , theme of Symmetry in maths and loads more but a I cant rember it.

Tim's term reflection

I started off the year with cricket we won every single game except one witch was a draw! The main thing about term one was camp there was a zooming flying fox. Everyone was waiting for the flying fox before we left. But still there’s more there were mini motor bikes climbing walls obstacle courses of all different kinds BMX’s and still more! Now the whole school is learning about forces like gravity and friction and some other ones. J

term 1

term 1 has been great. there has been swimming sports, weetbix tryathlon and many sports.this year is the production. EVERYONE IS EXCITED!!! well nearly everyone.this year well be a brilliant year. last year of primary any way.well see ya later. = )

this week we have been doing scince of push pull and forces. on monday we got a ballon and jellyton and put it on a plate then rubbed the ballon on our heads. then stuck the ballon on the jellyton and it stared to fly up. it was so cool.

last week we had a great game. we faced napier central agansit napire central. we were playing all tall people so they scored lots of goals. it wa the last game of the teram and the best one. at the end we got a lolly pod and choclate from our great coach. i love basket ball

Squash

Every Thursday, Wednesday and Monday i play squash. It is really fun because you learn new things and get better every time. Squash is my favorite sport because i am good at it and i love training to get better at it. When i train, i train with my mum because she is my coach and she also coaches other children and adults. My mum  loves squash and has been the highest grade before witch is A1 but she went down because she had to stop when  she was pregnant with Ally and I. My goal is to become a A grader when i am young. My favorite people to play squash with is my mum my older sister Ashley and my other sister Ally. I was really impressed with myself when i came runner up in the under 11 squash nationals. I love squash!!!

The Basketball Game

I have been play basketball for nearly a whole term and have one more to go. I have enjoyed it and am going to play it for another term. Last week we played Eskdale Hornets the score was 22-19 to my team the Central Ravens. We have a great couch called Rick and he teaches us lots of stuff like dribbling , scoring , shooting , passing and other stuff.In my team i have Lily, Ruby, Sophie, Alia, Ashley. We different things for each person Lily and Ruby are the best shooters because they are tall. Ashley is good for everything. Alia, Sophie and myself are the best shooters. We have one more game and we are versing the Central Falcons. We have practise's one in the morning on Tuesdays and one on Saturdays. 

Camp

On Wednesday 20th march room four and room six went to camp. everyone had there bags packed in the cars ready to go before we were aloud to go we had to have a day pack check. everyone had everything. when we got to the Stoney Creek Ranch everybody was yelling out windows and going crazy. As soon as we got to camp we had our morning tea i had a bag of chips. When everybody had finished eating we got called in cabin numbers to go up and get our bags. I had allot of bag and we were only going for two nights and three days. When everybody was settled in there cabins we got called to go into the autotorium again. when we went into the autotorium the teachers talked to us about what our activity groups were doing. All the activity's were the  motor bikes, flying fox, bmx bikes, archery, shooting, Frisbee golf,climbing wall,  confidence course, ninga course, and hut building. my teams favorite activity's were the flying fox and the mini motor bikes. We liked the flying fox and the motor bikes because the  flying fox was really high and fun and the mini motor bikes were pretty fast and really cool. At camp we learnt to be positive, work as a team and be confident. At camp there were also night games. The two night games were cluedo and forest walk. What you have to do for cluedo is let the parents hide and then you have to try and find them. We have a sheet that has all these questions to ask the parents like "did you  murder of Mr bean" and they can say yes, no, maybe. The next night game is the forest walk what you have to do for the forest walk is try and walk through the forest without the parents hearing you or seeing you. On the last day of camp we did some more activity's and then we did cabin inspections and then left in the same cars we did going to camp. We arrived at camp at 2:30pm and we waited in the hall for our parents to come and pick us up.

Swimmming sports

Go yellow clap clap clap.
As I stand at the end of the pool waiting for the clicker to go !!! Then it goes un expecting and I'm off. splash when I come up to breath their is none stop cheering. Then I come to a sudden stop it was over I looked back the others were still coming I was so proud of my self. I got given an orange stick to shown that I had come first. I hop out of the pool and give Mrs Ferguson "what house" YELLOW" I said with excited meant. I went back to yellows tarpaulin. Only 5 more races till my next race then all of theses 5 races came so quickly and it was my last race. Once again stand at the end of the pool and I was off again. Once again it came so quickly. and I got given another orange stick. YAY I won all my races.  

This year so far

This year in room 4 so far is is going well. The highlight of the term one is camp we went to Stoney Creek Ranch . There was lots of activity's like mini moter bikes,rock climbing,flying fox, Frisbee golf,BMX bikes , archery, shooting and low ropes.My favourite activity was the flying fox and the mini moter bikes.I also liked when we built a bivouac , a canapolt and a small boat. There were four main supervises Pearl, Jeff ,Mark and Joolz.In my cabin were Lily, Sophie, Alia, Brianna,Ashely,Tegan,Rachel and I. We were cabin four. Camp has been so much fun.

BASKETBALL GAME!!!!!!!!!

Beep goes the buzzer I grab the red colored band and run onto the court to do the jump ball. I jump and whack it back to the rest of my team. Alia gets it and dribbles it down the court she shoots and scores. Know they did the pass in my player had got the ball and was I ready to defend I started up to him but when I got there he had already passed the ball. I ran down to the basket. Got the rebound and dribbled it down the court I passed it to lily she shoots but misses I get the rebound shoots and scores. I run down the court my person gets the ball again so I run and start defending he gets trapped in the corner and I start to get closer someone else comes up and takes the ball. I run under the basket they get it in and I start to the halfway line I run under the basket that we shoot in I look for the person with the ball and Alia passes it to me. I shoot and score we were in the last quarter and we were behind. We start with the ball Jessica passes it in to Sophie and she passes it to Lily. Lily passes it to me but I was straight under the basket so I had to pass it back to Jessica who had just got out of her defenders reach she gets the ball and passes it to lily who scores. There is only a minute left and we are winning by 1 point I get the ball and dribble it down the court and shoot I get it in as soon as the final buzzer goes.

This week

This week my class an I have been doing art. We have to rule a border and draw for pictures but not just any pictures you have to have  camp pictures.I chose the flying fox,mini motor bikes,A Stoney Creek sighn and BMX Bikes.

Class Tennis

I really enjoyed tennis with the class this week because I get better every time I play it.I played with Claudia,Sam,Maddy,me,Jessica and Sophie they are really good at it I got 6 points and I lost.I really enjoyed it again because I can do big hits with the tennis rackets. The first team I went in was with Sophie and Maddy. Maddy got out first then Me then Sophie

My school week

Hi, last week at school we,had 'Science in a van' come, won our basket ball game 20 35 to us, did symmetry & reflections in maths and lots of other things. Science in a van was best though. The people hosting it were called Allen, Emily and a rubber chicken called Steve. They made one of the teachers sit on a chair of nails, made Allen's head go smaller and I got to hold Steve when he sang a song.

The year so far

This year i am in room 4.So far I have had great fun.We have done lots of exciting stuff like camp,art -deco,swimming sports and lots of other things. I am looking forward to the production this year. For camp we went to Stoney Creek Ranch. At camp we did lots of activities like Mini Motor Bikes, Archery and Shooting ,Bmx Bikes, Frisbee golf ,Climbing Wall, Low Ropes but my favorite was the Flying Fox. I also really liked the Comando course,it was where you and a partner were tied together and you had to go through obstacles. We slept in cabins and in my cabin there was me, Annabel, Sophie, Alia, Brianna, Georgia, Rachel, Teegan, and Ashley. I had a great camp and I

am looking forward to other things through the year.

CAMP!

Last week I went to camp. Stoney creek camp and it had heeps of fun activities like a flying fox, BMX`s,low ropes,rock climbing ect.the cabin beds were so comfortable. the first night i banged my head the next night i bumped my ancle by night it stoped hurting. we also had the most delisios food.

Camp

camp was really fun. The flying fox was really fast and scary.As I went down I was screming so loud it felt like my ear drums were going to burst.On the ninga coures I chiped an adult tooth. The food was way better than mums cooking. I sat at the same tabele as Kurt.

camp 2013

In room 4 I have had great fun. I have learnt so much. The highlight of the year so far has been going to camp. We went to Stoney Creek Ranch. There was so many activities you never get bored. The activities were a flying fox, BMX bikes, low ropes, ninja course, confidence course, motor bikes, Frisbee golf, archery and shooting and the climbing wall. At the end of the day we played a sport team vs team. You either play soccer, hockey, volleyball or cricket. The first sport rotation our team did was soccer. We played against team 7. We lost 3-0. Anyway it was so fun. The other sport rotation was cricket. We played against team 5. We didn't get the score for that. The activity group I am in is group 6. In the group is Charlie (the leader), Breea,  Amelia, Georgia, Ashton, Tim, Elliana

 and I. Camp was so fun.

camp story

In week eight room 4 and 6 went to camp together.Their were seven activities.Flying fox, Low ropes, Motor bikes, BMX biking, Rock climbing, Frisbee golf and Archery/shooting. We also did bivouac building, Confidence course/ninja course, team building exercises and sports rotations which were cricket, volleyball, hockey and soccer.Almost everyone loved the mini motor bikes.It was the best and only school camp I have ever been on.All my friends were there and I made some new friends. Thats all, here's a picture of me.Hope you like it.

Stoney Creek Ranch

On Wednesday the 20th of March room 4 went on school camp it takes 40 minutes to get there. We arrived   to barking from Waggs the dog who seemed to be the center of attention here at Stoney Creek. There were seven cool activities mini motor bikes, BMX bikes, low ropes, flying fox, climbing wall, Frisbee golf and archery/shooting. we also did sports rotations soccer, hockey, volley ball and cricket. I really enjoyed camp and i am hoping to go again. 

camp 2013

This term in Room 4 we have been doing a lot of learning.  I have really enjoyed learning with Miss Ferguson. one of my favorite things that i have done in Room 4 has been going to camp.  I really enjoyed going to Stoney creek ranch because of all of the outdoor activities that we did.  Room 4 went to camp with Room 6.  my favorite part about going to camp was that there were chefs to cook our food.  There were a lot of activities that we did at camp.
Such as...
the flying fox,  the low ropes,   BMX bikes, mini motorbikes, Frisbee golf, archery and shooting and the climbing wall.At camp we did some sports rotations.  The sports that we did was soccer, cricket, volley ball and hockey.  I really enjoyed doing the hockey because it got you very warmed up.

this year i am in room 4, and i am a year 5 and i am also with year six's. i really enjoy it because i have a wonderful teacher and amazing friends. and this year is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my main goal this year is to get better at factions and dismal s. i am looking ford to the  school production in the middle of the year because i am going to Addison to be a main charter. 

Term 1 so far

So far this year has been really fun because we have been to camp and had a lot of days off. My favorite subject so far has been maths because Miss Ferguson is awesome at teaching maths. My highlight so far has been camp because it was so  fun hanging out with my friends and i loved the mini motor bikes. My low light was hamish slamming my finger in the doors hinges and breaking it.
